What's on the wiki page?
A little tour of what's on the page you're seeing now, and how that might be different depending on the level of access.
Getting Around...
There are three main parts to your wiki page.
First, we'll look at the TOP. In the picture below, you can see the title of the wiki (wikiaoao) and the page name (orientation). Underneath, there are 5 buttons. From left to right, these are:
- picture (this is the wiki's logo)
- View (means you're just reading the page)
- Edit (this is what you click if you are going to add to/change the page contents)
- "last edited by" (this shows who and when the page was changed last)
- "Page history" (this shows what's been done to the page since it was born. You can revert to earlier versions in case of a huge mistake or loss of information when you're editing.)

On the other side of the page, there are more useful links:
- In the very top, right-hand corner it will show if you're logged in or not, and give you links to your own account.
- "Create a page" (does just what it says)
- "Upload files" (you can upload a variety of image and document files, but jpg and pdf work best)
- "Upgrade" (if you've got a free wiki, this is what you click to change to a pay-for wiki)
- "FrontPage" (click to get back to the home, or start, page of the wiki)
- "Pages & Files" (shows you all the pages and files on the wiki; depends on your access level)
- "Setting" (shows you all the background settings for color, layout, security and user features; depends on your access level)
- "Help" (does what it says)
On the RIGHT side of each page are a number of things. (see the picture below)

These are the items listed above as being on the "top right corner" of your page.
You'll have a search box - this relates to words and "tags" on pages.
Below, you may see a box called "In folder" which shows the folder where this page is located, plus the other pages you can find there. The page you're currently on will be in bold.
Underneath, it has some information about the page - moving it to a different folder, "tagging" the page so it's easier to find, and the level of security on the page. If the page security is "locked", it means only people with editor access can make changes.
Next, you'll have the SIDEBAR. This is a quick-links section with important pages on it. It's like a menu on most websites, as it gives you the options of where to go and links to get there.

A bit lower on the RIGHT side, you'll see the FOLDERS box. This shows all the folders on the wiki space. It's how all the pages are organized, and sets who can edit what pages. You may or may not have access to these.
Another access-determined element is the "SHARE THIS WIKI" box. This is new, even to me. I don't know whether you can see it or not, if you're not an editor for the wiki.
This box shows the most recent changes made to the wiki, so that collaborative teams can see who's been working on what.
Next, we'll look at the BOTTOM of the wiki page. This is where you will see and write comments for the page.

Generally, you must be signed in and have "writer" access at least, in order to make a comment.
A very useful link is the "Printable version" at the bottom right of the page. This makes a printer-friendly version - usually pdf - of the page.
Finally, along the bottom border is a list of policy links. It also tells you the status of the wiki (in this case, it's public)
