“Welcome to our class wiki. Here you will find group projects, class updates and Featured Writer pages.”
Jenn Gutierrez
“I created the Cougarpedia to showcase outstanding student work. We use the pages, which are divided into course-specific units, to post essays, PowerPoint presentations, even photographs of posters. Next year, we will add videos. This gives the students a genuine real-world audience for their work and forces them to think about how it will be received.”
Angela Cunningham, 9th grade teacher, PBwiki Certified Educator
“I created the mrswy wiki as a central information storehouse for myself; for my students it is both a digital portfolio library and a communication location. My reachout wiki was created as a way for my English teaching team to continue collaboration on units during the actual teaching of those units.”
Tamara James-Wyachai, Middle School English Teacher and Subject Area Leader (English), PBwiki Certified Educator
This wiki was created by and for a 5th grade social studies unit about colonization. Notable use of commentary and "journal" blogs - the wiki is an ongoing project by the students.
